Skin texture care,
with clear control.

A large touchscreen, adjustable settings and a place to pause between steps. The A11 brings practical control to a professionally planned microneedling session.

For those exploring care for uneven texture, fine lines or healed acne-scar appearance, choosing the right procedure matters as much as choosing the pen.

Standard original kit + 10 additional cartridges in your chosen type.

Start with your skin goal

Texture, tone and scars need different plans.

Professional microneedling creates controlled punctures in the skin to stimulate its repair response. Common goals include improving the appearance of fine lines, uneven texture, visible pores, healed scars and stretch marks.

Fine lines & uneven texture

Consider a professional consultation about smoother-looking skin and a more even surface. Depth, area and technique need to be planned together.

Healed, indented acne scars

These are changes in skin contour. They need assessment of scar type; a particular pin count cannot guarantee scar correction.

Flat marks & uneven tone

Flat post-acne colour marks differ from indented scars. Identify the cause before deciding whether microneedling is suitable.

Do not use over active acne, open wounds, infected or irritated skin. These are general uses of professional microneedling, not A11-specific clinical results. Read the American Academy of Dermatology overview.

A11 product illustration showing automatic pause on the inductive base and restart when lifted

Designed around the session

Set it down to pause.
Lift with care to resume.

In its running state, A11 automatically pauses when returned to the inductive base and can restart when lifted. The stand gives the handpiece a defined resting place between steps.

The base is a pause aid. Keep the cartridge clear of skin when lifting the pen, and switch the device off at the end of a session.

The manual directs charging through the pen’s power interface. The inductive base is not presented here as a wireless charger.

Visible controls

The illuminated touchscreen displays the selected speed and puts labelled controls within view.

Separate adjustments

Choose from six speed levels. Turn the depth dial near the cartridge to adjust the marked needle length.

Secure cartridge fit

The three-slot cartridge connector and backflow-protection membrane support the A11 cartridge system. Use compatible, single-use cartridges.

A11 uses a rechargeable battery for cordless operation. Its screen is a control display; this model does not have a verified serum-dispensing or LED skin-light therapy function.

Choose your extra cartridge pack

Seven options. Start with the area and goal.

The options below refer to the 10 additional cartridges supplied with your A11. Each pack contains one selected type. Numbered cartridges are microneedling options; Nano tips are positioned for surface skincare.

12-pin

Targeted facial areas

An option to compare for focused work on localised, healed acne-scar texture or lines. Consider it when the plan centres on specific facial areas, rather than choosing a cartridge only by its pin count.

18-pin

Full-face texture and fine lines

A useful first comparison for a broader facial plan covering uneven texture, fine lines, pore appearance or mild healed scarring. Consider this full-face option when several of these goals overlap.

24-pin

Neck, décolletage and body-area planning

Compare when the planned area extends beyond a small facial zone, such as the neck, décolletage or thighs. It offers another cartridge layout for these areas, which still need their own settings and suitability assessment.

36-pin

Larger-area texture care

Another option to compare for neck, décolletage or body-area work. Its selection scenarios overlap with 24-pin, so discuss which layout suits the planned technique rather than treating it as an intensity upgrade.

42-pin

Healed acne-scar texture

Another numbered microneedling option to compare when healed acne-scar texture is the concern. Choose within an individual plan; its higher pin count alone does not establish better results or greater depth.

Nano Round

Surface skincare and glow

Compare for a surface-focused skincare session aimed at a smoother, fresher-looking finish. It belongs to the Nano category, rather than a treatment plan for indented scars.

Nano Square

Surface skincare in a square-tip format

An alternative Nano shape for a surface-focused skincare routine. Its goals overlap with Nano Round; the shape alone does not establish a different scar, pigmentation or anti-ageing result.

Quick comparison: focused facial work → compare 12-pin; a broader facial plan → compare 18-pin; neck or body-area planning → compare 24-pin and 36-pin; surface skincare → compare the two Nano formats. The 42-pin option also has a healed-scar positioning.

These references describe cartridge product positioning, not independent proof of results. Uses overlap. Pin count alone does not establish depth, comfort or effectiveness. Professional settings and suitability still need to be decided individually. Scalp-related goals require a separate assessment and do not imply guaranteed hair growth.

Before your session

Prepare, fit and check.

01 · Prepare

Review the manual and professional plan. Charge the pen, disconnect charging power and prepare a clean work area and suitable supplies.

02 · Fit

Keep the pen off. Check a fresh cartridge’s sealed packaging, align its notch with the device mark and turn to lock as shown in the manual.

03 · Check

Confirm the cartridge, speed and depth before treatment. Keep the tip clear when lifting from the base. Use a new cartridge for every session.

This is a setup overview. It does not prescribe treatment depth, frequency or aftercare. Follow the supplied A11 instructions and your trained practitioner’s protocol.

Product documentation

Documents that specifically list A11.

The documents on file include A11 in their model lists: EMC conformity documents HUT20221205-E and PTC25062613901E-EM01, LVD document HUT20221205-L, and FCC Part 15 Subpart B verification CTEE22040059.

These concern electrical safety or electromagnetic compatibility. We have not independently authenticated the documents with their issuers. They do not establish treatment effectiveness or guarantee risk-free use.

Genuine Dr. Pen

Check your device on the official website.

Your A11 device can be checked through Dr. Pen’s security-code verification system.

  1. Find the security label on the machine’s packaging and scratch the designated area.
  2. Go directly to drpen.com/verify and enter the revealed code.
  3. Read the result and keep your packaging and order details.
Verify at Dr. Pen

If the result is unexpected, contact elleinbeauty before use. Replacement cartridges are not promised a separate website-verification code. Check the official verification instructions for repeat-check rules.

Questions before you choose

A closer look at A11.

Authenticity

Is this a genuine Dr. Pen A11?

Yes. elleinbeauty supplies genuine Dr. Pen A11 devices. Check the security label on your device packaging through Dr. Pen’s official verification page before use.

How do I check the security code?

Locate the packaging security label, scratch the designated coating and enter the revealed code at drpen.com/verify. If you use a supported QR code, check that the destination is the official drpen.com website. Keep the code private.

Why might a repeat check fail?

Dr. Pen currently permits up to three valid verifications per code, with 24 hours between successful checks. A repeat attempt can be affected by these limits. Read the result and the current verification rules before trying again.

What if the code is invalid, missing or already checked?

Check for typing errors and confirm the website address. Keep the box, label, proof of purchase and a screenshot of the result, then contact elleinbeauty before use. A previous check needs investigation; do not judge authenticity from packaging alone.

Do the additional cartridges have separate verification codes?

We do not promise an individual website verification code on replacement cartridges. The machine’s packaging is the verification point for this kit. A cartridge without its own code is not, by itself, evidence that it is counterfeit.

Your kit

What will I receive?

The standard original A11 machine kit, including the pen, inductive base, cable, adapter, manual and original-box cartridges, plus 10 additional cartridges of your selected type. Serum is not included.

Are the additional 10 cartridges mixed?

No. All 10 additional cartridges are the single type selected in your order: 12-pin, 18-pin, 24-pin, 36-pin, 42-pin, Nano Square or Nano Round. They are supplied in addition to the standard original kit.

Which plug should I select?

Choose the plug that matches your destination’s socket: US, EU, UK, AU or KR. Check the supplied adapter label before connecting power, and do not force a plug into an incompatible socket.

Does the kit include serum or aftercare products?

No. Arrange suitable preparation, procedure and aftercare supplies separately. A regular cosmetic serum is not automatically suitable for use on skin undergoing microneedling.

Where can I buy replacement cartridges?

Use the A11-compatible replacement cartridge pack. Confirm that the packaging specifically lists A11 compatibility and check the selected pin option and pack quantity.

Uses & cartridge choice

What skin concerns is microneedling commonly considered for?

Professional microneedling is used for the appearance of healed acne scars, fine lines, uneven texture, visible pores, uneven tone and stretch marks. These are general procedure uses, not a promise that A11 will deliver a particular result.

Can I use it on active acne?

Do not needle inflamed pimples, pustules, broken skin or infected areas. Let active acne be assessed and controlled before considering a separate plan for healed acne scars.

Are flat acne marks the same as indented scars?

No. Flat red or brown marks mainly involve colour, while indented scars involve a change in surface contour. They need different assessments; do not select a cartridge solely because both followed acne.

Which option should I compare for facial care?

Start by comparing 12-pin for focused facial work and 18-pin for a full-face plan addressing texture or fine lines. This is product-selection guidance, not a prescribed depth or treatment. See the complete cartridge guide for all seven choices.

How do 24-pin, 36-pin and 42-pin differ in practical selection?

The A11 listings place 24-pin and 36-pin in overlapping larger-area scenarios, including neck, décolletage and body-area planning. The 42-pin listing also mentions acne-scar concerns. There is no universal ranking by pin count; match the option to the planned area and technique.

Should I choose Nano Round or Nano Square?

Both are surface-skincare options for a smoother, glowing appearance. Choose the tip format appropriate to the planned surface routine. Neither replaces a microneedling plan for indented scars, and one shape is not established as more effective than the other.

Does a higher pin count mean deeper or better treatment?

No. Pin count identifies the cartridge layout. The depth dial is a separate control, and outcomes also depend on technique, skin condition and the treatment plan.

Can it be used for scalp or hair concerns?

Some A11 cartridge guidance includes scalp-area use. Hair loss needs its cause assessed before any procedure; this device or a particular cartridge is not a guaranteed hair-growth treatment.

Controls & power

What does the touchscreen control?

The large illuminated interface provides visible speed information and labelled controls for speed and power/start-pause operation. The A11 has six speed levels. Needle length is adjusted separately with the dial near the cartridge.

How does the inductive base work?

When an operating A11 is placed on its inductive base, it pauses automatically. Lifting it from the base can restart it. Keep the cartridge clear of skin when lifting, and switch the device off when a session is finished.

Is the base a wireless charger?

The A11 manual describes it as an inductive pause/rest base and directs charging through the pen’s power interface. Charge with the supplied cable and adapter as instructed; do not assume resting the pen on the base charges it.

Can I use the A11 wirelessly?

Yes. It has a rechargeable built-in battery for cordless operation. Charge before the session and disconnect from charging power before use.

Can I use it while charging?

Use the pen disconnected from charging power. Listings differ on wired operation; follow the supplied A11 instructions rather than assuming it supports treatment while connected.

What depth and speed should I use?

The device provides six speeds and a marked needle-adjustment range of 0–2.5 mm. These are hardware capabilities, not a recommended treatment setting. A trained practitioner should select settings for the area, cartridge and individual skin.

Does it have serum infusion or light therapy?

A11 is a microneedling pen with a control display. It has no verified built-in serum reservoir, automatic dispensing, LED skin-light treatment, RF or EMS function. The illuminated screen is for controls.

What should I do if it stops or behaves unusually?

Pause and keep the cartridge away from skin. Check whether the pen is resting on its base and whether it needs charging. If it still runs irregularly, becomes unusually hot or will not operate normally, switch it off and contact elleinbeauty. Do not open or repair the pen yourself.

Preparation & hygiene

Is the A11 intended for a first-time home user?

The current Dr. Pen A11 brand page specifies trained professional use. Easy-to-read controls do not replace training or a suitability assessment. Arrange professional guidance before purchasing for a procedure.

What should I check before fitting a cartridge?

Read the supplied manual, inspect the pen and adapter, and prepare a clean workspace. Check the cartridge type, expiry information, packaging seal and condition. Do not use a damaged, expired, previously opened or contaminated cartridge.

How is the cartridge attached?

With the pen switched off, align the cartridge notch and device mark, insert gently and turn to lock as shown in the A11 manual. Check that it is secure before starting. Do not force an incompatible cartridge into the connector.

Can I reuse or share a cartridge?

No. Use a new single-use cartridge for every session, including for the same person. Do not share it or try to make a used cartridge reusable by soaking it in alcohol.

Do I need to soak a sealed cartridge in alcohol?

Do not treat alcohol soaking as a way to sterilise or restore a cartridge. Published preparation advice differs; follow the instructions supplied with your sealed cartridge and your practitioner’s infection-control protocol. Ask for clarification before use if they conflict.

How should the pen and used cartridges be handled afterwards?

Switch off and disconnect power. Remove the used cartridge and dispose of it safely under local sharps requirements. Wipe the pen exterior as instructed, keep liquid out of the connector and store the device dry. Do not immerse the pen.

Suitability & expectations

Who should seek advice before considering microneedling?

Discuss your skin and medical history, medications and any tendency to form raised scars with a qualified healthcare professional. Active skin disease, infection, impaired healing or bleeding concerns may change whether a procedure is appropriate.

Is microneedling painless or free of downtime?

No. Discomfort, redness, swelling or flaking can occur. Infection, pigment change and scarring are possible, especially with unsuitable use. Recovery depends on the procedure and individual skin.

How often should sessions be scheduled?

There is no single schedule for every area, cartridge or skin concern. Let the practitioner plan the interval and aftercare; do not repeat a session on skin that has not recovered.

How quickly will I see a change?

Improvement can be gradual and may need a course of treatment. Neither immediate redness nor a deeper setting proves better results. No specific timeline or percentage improvement is guaranteed.

Can I use my usual skincare and makeup straight afterwards?

Follow the aftercare plan for the actual procedure. Ask when to resume makeup, exfoliating acids, retinoids and other active products. Protect recovering skin from sun exposure; seek medical care for severe, persistent or worsening reactions.

Orders & support

What if my kit is incomplete or the device has a fault?

Contact elleinbeauty support with your order number, the selected pack and plug, and clear photos or a short fault video. Keep the packaging while the issue is reviewed. Do not post your full security code publicly.

Where can I check delivery and returns?

Please read elleinbeauty’s current shipping policy and refund policy. Contact support before returning an item or opening sterile consumables if you are unsure about eligibility.

Make the plan before the procedure.

Dr. Pen’s current A11 information specifies trained professional use. Microneedling punctures the skin and needs suitable training, hygiene and aftercare. Ask a qualified healthcare professional whether it is right for your skin and goals.

For general procedure preparation and recovery, see Cleveland Clinic’s microneedling overview. Device and cartridge instructions take priority over general product-selection guidance.
